  24. I purchased said CommSuite 95 only to later find out it would NOT
  25. support the internal fax/data/voice modem in my Compaq Presario.  The
  26. outside of the CommSuite Box says you require a "compatible" voice
  27. capable modem.  Reality is that Talkworks will only work with a voice
  28. modem based on Rockwell or Cirrus Logic chipsets (Presario modems use
  29. AT&T as far as I can tell).  I have the list of "compatible" modems
  30. from the Delrina web site, and it's a rather short list.  There are
  31. definitely no USR modems on the list.

  33. As for whether or not Delrina will add support for additional modems
  34. based on different chipsets, my guess is you'll be in for a very long
  35. wait.  I'm considering upgrading to a Cardinal MPV288IV from my Compaq
  36. 14.4 so that I can get a much needed surf-speed increase as well as
  37. utilize the Talkworks feature, which looks pretty neat.
